What Is Digital Painter?
Digital Painter is a club centered around digital art, primarily those which resemble the traditional method of painting. It is a place where digital painters can join to meet people with similar interests. This community is for sharing art and for helping each other grow in the area of digital painting. But don't let that keep you from discussing other things!
Thumbnails
While we don't mind you posting thumbs, be aware that they should be for good reason other than just shameless self-promotion. However, if you want to show someone an example, or have just uploaded a new deviation, this is perfectly fine, we will not mind you posting a thumb. Excessive thumbing will result in being kicked from the channel. The determination of what is 'excessive' is determined by the staff on hand.

DigitalPainter about the problem.
The main account will also feature contests, thumbs and announcements on a regular basis, so we'd urge you to watch it. A community is only as good as what its members and participants put into it!
Critiques
You may ask for critiques, but don not spam the chat with
bold face, streeeeeetching, or CAPS.
Be considerate with language
Staff reserve the right to kick or possibly ban anyone involved in heated arguments/debates/excessive use of profanity. While we appreciate the sharing of opinions and expressions – we also share a concern for an enjoyable environment in our chat room. Racial slurs, anti-Semitic or other derogatory remarks about philosophies and religions, as well as highly offensive and hostile/threatening remarks based on gender or sexual preference will result in a kick and/or ban from #DigitalPainter.
Spam
Spamming is repeatedly posting nonsense or a lot of emotes, excessive thumbnails, continuing to repeat the same question after its been answered, also what is called 'flooding' by most: One-person chatter that just keeps going and going. One-word lines (constantly) and the streeeeeetching of words will also be considered spam. Note that this doesn't just make the chat harder to read, it's also flat-out annoying to the users. Once again, this is judged by the active staff at that moment, and they choose what actions follow.
Linking
Do not post links to any pornographic material/images, racist websites, viruses, or anything else that may be considered highly offensive or illegal. Also do not post links that will automatically allow someone to +fav or +devwatch your work(s). This is considered a violation of the #DigitalMedia rules and may result in a ban.
We do not allow any illegal activities.
We are not responsible for anything you say in the chatroom, or for any consequences that arise from what you say. If you break the law, you alone will be responsible for the consequences.
kicked or banned
The staff member that kicked you will have done so for a reason. This reason is usually found in the kick message, however, if you wish to discuss this in a mature manner, or if the staff member forgot to leave such a message, do NOT go back into the channel and cause drama, DO NOT make multiple screen names with the intent on being “sneaky” or to get back into the room under false pretenses. Instead, while you CAN re-join, you should try to contact the staff member, be it via note or via the private chat function in dAmn.extend. If you continue to behave in a manner that is getting you “kicked” this may result in a permanent ban from the #DigitalPainter chatroom. The length and reason of this ban will be made clear to you, be it via note or other means.
Personal Information
We caution you against giving out personally identifiable information (such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, names and addresses, telephone numbers and driver license numbers) to strangers online, as this information may be used for illegal or harmful purposes.
Everyone please remember, we all want to have fun, so just follow your common sense, and everything should be fine.
Once there is a good amount of members, contests will be held.
If anyone is interested in being a member/staff (in helping develop this club) send a note. Also if you would like a piece to be added to favorites, note ~
Digital-Painter with a link.
Thanks
